Seeb are an electronic music trio consisting of Norwegian musicians and producers Simen Eriksrud, Espen Berg and Nick Strand. In 2015 Simen, Espen and Nick met managers and executive producers Christoffer Huse and Trond Opsahl. They decided to go into partnership, and the Seeb team was in place. Based in Oslo, Norway, Simen, Espen and Nick have, until recently, been working as producers and songwriters, with several chart-topping tracks under their belts. The turning point came when they ceased producing records for other artists and began to focus completely on their own unique sound and music. That was the start of Seeb.
Seeb released their first remixes in the spring of 2015. They soon had a Hype Machine #1 track with their fresh take on Kiesza´s “Cut Me Loose”, introducing their trademark cutting edge vocal tweaks and treatments. This was followed by a remix of Shawn Mendes “Stitches”, before they dropped their interpretation of Mike Posner´s track “I Took a Pill in Ibiza”. The now famous remix exploded on Spotify, giving the duo international traction almost overnight. It rose rapidly up the Global Spotify Charts and even sat as high as #4 on the Billboard Hot 100.
At the start of 2016 Seeb signed a global deal with Universal Music, and have been in the studio working on their original music since. Their debut single «Breathe» was released in March 2016 and already has amassed over 67 million streaming play on Spotify. Their remix of Coldplay’s ”Hymn For The Weekend” currently sits in the Spotify Global Top 30 with over 200 million steaming plays. Their next single ”What Do You Love” will debut live at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles, California on Friday, October 14th and will be avaliable for both streaming and download that same night.
